Temporary Roofing

PMC Scaffold & Access can install temporary roofing structures over buildings to provide a weather-proof envelope that not only protects the building but also provides a protected working environment.

Temporary roofing is needed to help protect buildings from the destruction of water ingress should their original roof be compromised or missing.

For building projects, a temporary roof can allow work to continue on the project throughout the seasons and so reducing expensive stoppages and delays caused by bad weather.

For repairs to roofs, having a temporary roof, allows repairs such as welding to be kept dry.

In addition to temporary roofs, PMC Scaffold & Access can also provide full building wraps, giving a watertight finish to the structure that can be heated and provide an ideal working environment.

What do our temporary roofing clients need?

Fast response times
If there is a real risk of property damage, a temporary roof is needed in a hurry. We pride ourselves on offering fast response times allowing essential protection, maintenance and repair work to be carried out in a timely manner.

Difficulties in site access
Depending on the nature and position of the site, access for scaffold can be difficult if needing to work around existing buildings or in difficult access circumstances. This is where our experience is a real benefit in ensuring the scaffold part of the project runs smoothly.

Understanding of the restrictions
Whether working in a conservation building, listed building or historical monument, there are conservation and planning requirements and restrictions that need to be adhered to. We work closely with architects, planners, engineers and conservationists to ensure the projects go to plan.
